To be loved, powerful, and Free

reach the city
Simply put, we often underestimate the power of God’s love.
The love of our Father not only saves our soul from eternal separation from Himself; it frees us from our shame and gives us a new destiny.
So many of us allow ourselves to question how much our Father really loves us based on what we have done or said. In really low times in our walk, we feel as though we don’t deserve God’s love and attention. In the highest of high times, we feel like we have finally earned the great love of our Heavenly Father.

But here’s the good news: God’s love meets us right where we are, and it never fails to be more than we could ever imagine or hope for.

Recently, I got asked the question, “What does it mean to be loved by God?” I almost immediately thought back to the first time I had truly experienced the power of God’s love. I had always known God loved me, but I had never rested in His love and let it wash over me completely.
I was too scared to let God into the broken places; the places in my heart that were tainted by regret and pain. When I finally realized how loved I was by the Father, it opened doors in my soul that were locked by bitterness and shame.

The Lord’s love frees us to be everything He created us to be: passionate, powerful, and dangerous for the Kingdom of Heaven.

Friends, could you imagine the chains that would be broken, if we only allowed the love of God to overflow into every hidden corner of our hearts? God’s love has the power to break chains, burn away the lies of the Enemy, and pull us out of darkness. We have to stop magnifying who we are and what we’re not, and start magnifying our Father’s powerful love.

Once we’ve accepted the love that Jesus died for us to embrace, there’s nothing we can’t do. All we have to do is fall back into the abundant love that our Father so desperately wants us to live in.

Allow the Lord to break down walls and unlock doors, and start stepping into the freedom that is waiting for you on the other side.
To Be Loved is to walk in power and freedom.
